Move the “Assembly-CSharp.dll” and “UModTld.dll to your “SteamApps\common\TheLongDark\tld_data\Managed” folder. I did this multiple times and i NEVER encountered a single wolf.So installing and launching the console commands is probably the first thing you want to do, to enable you to use the Mods in The Long Dark and make the game your very own experience. I was using emergency stim, and i was taking railroad route out of two reasons.įirst was not to get lost in blizzard, and second was: It is IMPOSSIBLE not to run into at least one wolf since both Derailment and Train loading area are heavily infested with wolves all the time and also there is at least one wolf patrolling in front of Dam. I would run from Camp Office to Carter Hydro Dam and then back loaded with raw meat and guts. Out of boredom, i even tested it and when blizzard would start, provided i was inside, i would go outside in order to find wolves.
But in all this cases, i was outside before and when blizzard struck. I also had wolves attacking me during blizzard. I had them move alongside me VERY close during blizzard not noticing me at all, more than once. it is also true their senses (not just visibility) are reduced. It is true that they (wolves) stay, if you were outside and they were already spawned and then blizzard starts. But for Stalker (and i assume it is the same for other difficulties as well, don't see why would it be different) i have NEVER encountered a single wolf if i wandered outside, provided that blizzard started while i was somewhere inside. I do not know for Looper, i'we never played it.
